About Tabitha

Tabitha DeMaio was a true warrior, brave, selfless, and full of light. At just 34, she endured a relentless battle with cancer, facing it with unbreakable strength and grace. Through a mix of holistic treatments, and modern chemo, she fought her way beating the cancer… only to be taken by the very chemotherapy meant to save her, just one week after finding out the cancer was no longer amongst her..
Even in her fight for life, Tabitha’s heart was focused on others. She co-founded Operation Path Forward (OPF) a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping veterans, first responders, and their families heal through nature. Her vision expanded to include cancer patients and families, offering them a sanctuary to reconnect with nature, reset their spirits, and explore alternative paths to healing without poison or fear.
Her strength, kindness, and purpose live on through her two beautiful sons, Sawyer James (3) and Liam Maverick (1), and through the mission she and Tim built together: to help others heal as she did, through love, courage, and the wild.
